TOUR ITINERARY

Day 01:
BALI ARRIVAL - OVERNIGHT (D) Thursday
Arrive in Denpasar airport - meet & greeting service by Balinese girl in traditional dress with flower garland– transfer into Hotel in Kuta/Nusa Dua area–welcome drink & key distribution–Dinner & overnight at the hotel.

Day 02:
BALI FREE PROGRAM (B) Friday
Free at leisure OR optional excursion.

Day 03:
BALI – JAYAPURA-WAMENA (B/L/D) Saturday
Arrive in Jayapura catch the 3rd flight of Trigana at 11.00 within 45 mintues to Wamena, upon arrive check in Hotel, after lunch visit Jibama market, wesaput hangging bridge and village surrounding.

Note:
Flight from BALI to JAYAPURA is EVERYDAY except MONDAY at 02.30 am by GARUDA AIRLINES.
Flight schedule from JAYAPURA – WAMENA is 4 times a day:
First flight 06.30-07.10
Second flight 09.00-09.40
Third flight 11.00-11.40
Fourth flight 13.00-13.40

Day 04:
SPRING WATER-KURULU-(mummy)-TRADITIONAL DANI HAMLET (B/L/D) Sunday
Breakfast at hotel, drive to the north of Baliem valley/ Kurulu, then climb up the milli mountain to see the dani women procude the salt from spring water, it will take 2.5 hours round trip. After lunch by boxes walking about 15 mintues to visit old mummy of Mabels family. Simply Trekking to surabo village and visit dani compound for 3.5 hours, afternoon return to hotel for dinner and stay overnight.

Day 05:
PIG FESTIVAL OF THE DANI TRIBE (B/L/D) Monday
Breakfast at hotel, drive to Kurulu village for 45 minute, then walking for 15 minutes to Anemoigi village to see the dani pig festival and dance, it will take around 3 hours for ceremony, lunch by boxes will be provided, after awards visit waga waga village to see the Kontilola cave, afternoon return to the hotel.
Dinner at local restaurant.

Day 06:
PYRAMID REGION (B/L/D) Tuesday
Breakfast at hotel, drive about 1.5 hours to Pyramid area to see the local market and the big compound of Lani tribes and other village nearby, lunch will serve by boxes, afternoon return to Wamena for dinner and stay overnight.

Day 07:
TREKKING TO SOUTHERN KURIM (B/L/D) Wednesday
Breakfast at hotel, fullday exploring the Baliem Valley area visit Southern Kurima and village surrounding by charter taxi to Sogokmo and take a simply walk through Dani gardens and will be nice view of Baliem gorge and land scape. Lunch will serve by box. Afternoon drive back to Wamena for dinner and stay at hotel.

Day 08:
WAMENA MARKET- HANNGING BRIDE (B/L/D) Thursday
Breakfast at hotel, drive up to Napua village for 30 minutes to view of Wamena down town and simply walking trhough the lani compound. After kunch at local restaurant drive to Anelagak to see the dani village and peoples life by working in the gardens, late afternoon drive to hotel for dinner and stay overnight.

Day 09:
WAMENA - JAYAPURA FULLDAY TOUR (B/L/D) Friday
Breakfast at hotel, transfer to the airport for fly to Jayapura by Trigana flight. Up on arrive transfer to hotel for check in, then sight seeing tour visit Mc. Arthur war memorial, Sentani lake by boat visit Ayapo and Assey island. After lunch at Yougwa restaurant Continue to University Museum, Hamadi market for souvenir shop.
Late afternoon drive to hotel for dinner and stay overnight.

Day 10:
JAYAPURA-MAKASSAR, o/n at hotel in Makassar (B/L/D) Saturday
Arrive at Makassar airport, meet and transfer for afternoon Makassar city tour. Check in hotel.
Note:
Flight from JAYAPURA – MAKASSAR is daily flights:
BATAVIA AIR : daily flight 14.30-17.30
GARUDA AIRLINES : daily flight 14.00-17.05
MERPATI AIRLINES : daily flight 11.00-14.20

Day 11:
MAKASSAR – MALUKU, o/n at hotel in Ambon (B/L/D) Sunday
Upon arrival at Pattimura Airport, meeting service and our guide will accompany you to Ambon town for check in at Hotel. Have a rest and after lunch you will make a sightseeing tour visit:

  • Klaai village see the people feed the eels with fresh eggs in the waiselaka klater fishpond.
  • Back from Waai make stop at Suli Village see the processing of eucalyptus oil in traditional way.
  • Proceed to Natsepa beach for swim and relaxing while enjoy “Rujak Natsepa”
  • Continue to karang panjang visit Martha Chistina Tiahahu monument where you can make pictures from the Amboina bay.

Flight from MAKASSAR – MALUKU :
LION AIR : EVERYDAY (11.50)
MANDALA AIR : EVERYDAY (10.50)

Day 12:
AMBON – BANDA NAIRA TOUR (B/L/D) Monday
After breakfast depart hotel by car to Pattimura Airport and by Merpati Aircraft for one hour flight to Bandaneira. Arrival in Bandaneira, meet and transfer to hotel. Afternoon Neira city tour visit:

  • 18th century Dutch Church which have 34 Dutch graves inside the local museum with antique historical articles.
  • Visit the palace of Governor J.P.Coen
  • Bronze statue King Willem III
  • Continue to the 16th century Belgia fort at Tabaleku hill and house of the Dr.Mohammad Hatta.

Note:
Flight to BANDA NAIRA ISLAND is only by MERPATI AIRLINES once a week EVERY MONDAY.
AMBON-BANDA at 07.00 am.

Day 13:
WAER BEACH SNORKELLING TOUR (B/L/D) Tuesday
After breakfast, crossing by speedboat 10 minutes to WAER beach for snorkeling. Lunch will be served on the beach. Back to the hotel late in the afternoon.

Day 14:
BANDA BESAR & SEMBAHYANG BEACH TOUR (B/L/D) Wednesday
after breakfast crossover by speedboat 30 minutes to Banda Naeira Island visit Lonthor village see a perkernier daughter tomb named “Nona Lantzivs”, the stone 260 starway at lonthor village leading to fort Hollandia. Continue the trip by speedboat to Sembahyang beach for a picnic lunch, including swim and snorkeling until late afternoon. Back to hotel.

Day 15:
KARAKA ISLAND SNORKELLING TOUR (B/L/D) Thursday
After breakfast, crossover the sonegat strait by speedboat takes 15 minutes to Karaka island for snorkeling in the beautiful marine garden. Patita lunch on the beach.
Back to hotel.

Day 16:
VOLCANO ISLAND HIKING TOUR (B/L/D) Friday
The highlight tour is hiking to the top of Gunung Api (volcano) 660 meters highest peak of Banda. Your tour will start approximately at 06.00 am from the south side of the volcano and you will reach the summit at 08.30 am more less. After the 1988 eruption the crater became wider from 40 to 400 meters.
Back to hotel.

Day 17:
AY ISLAND SNORKELLING TOUR (B/L/D) Saturday
After breakfast, take one and half hour by speedboat passes by volcano Island to AY island for snorkeling in the nice marine garden. Patita lunch on the beach. Back to hotel.

Day 18:
PISANG ISLAND SNORKELLING (B/L/D) Sunday
After breakfast, crossing the zomegat strait by speedboat in a view minutes to visit the Nutmeg plantation and old drying house. Continue by speedboat for half hour to Pisang island for sunbathing, relaxing, at the white sandy beaches. Back to hotel.

Day 19:
BANDA ISLAND – AMBON – MAKASSAR (B/L/D) Monday
Breakfast, depart to Banda airport for morning flight by Merpati back to Ambon. Lunch at local restaurant. After Lunch transfer to Pattimura airport for flight to Makassar. Arrive Makassar transfer in to hotel for overnight.

  • Flight from BANDA NAIRA ISLAND is only by MERPATI AIRLINES once a week EVERY MONDAY. BANDA-AMBON at 10.25 am
  • Flight from MALUKU - MAKASSAR:
    LION AIR : EVERYDAY (07.45 & 14.50)
    MANDALA AIR : EVERYDAY (14.50)

Day 20:
MAKASSAR - BALI (B/L) Tuesday
Breakfast, Makassar city tour, transfer to airport for flight to Bali.

LION : JT 741 ( 09.15-10.25)

Day 21:
BALI FREE PROGRAM or OPTIONAL TOUR (B) Wednesday

Day 22:
Transfer out to Denpasar airport for flight back to Europe. Thursday
