2 Days 1 Night Rinjani Trekking

This route appeals to those short of time, climbing to Mt. Rinjani's Crater Rim in Gunung Rinjani National Park. Starting and ending in Senaru, it provides spectacular views of the Lake Segara Anak within the volcano's crater.
This gentle trek is good for beginners, or family with children (minimum 10 years old).Tour can leave any days except weather condition does not permitted.
Highlights are: Spectacular Sunset and Sunrise at the Crater Rim

Trek itinerary:

Day 1
Pick up early at your hotel, transfer to Senaru, Register at the Rinjani Trek Centre (RTC) in Senaru (601m) early in the morning, meet your guide arrange National Park entry ticket. The RTC staff briefing describes the route details, local cultural traditions and what you might see, and explains rubbish management and safety procedures.
The first hours of the trek climb steeply through thick tropical forest rich in flora, bird life and variety of butterflies. You might see orchid and if lucky, the rare black ebony leaf monkey, known locally as lutung. Rest stops are taken along the way, and at pos 2 Montong Satas shelter ( 1,500m ). Village stories and local legends are related by your guide. Features include the bayan tree bunut ngenkang that looks like someone standing with their legs apart, and the batu penyesalan stone.

Depending on your preperance and weather conditions, the nigh's camp is made either in the forest at pos 3 Mondokon Lolak (2,000m) after about five hours climb from senaru, or continue the ascent for another couple of hours through grassy meadows Plawangan 1 Senaru crater rim at 2,641m. from the crater rim are sweeping views across the lake Segara Anak (2,00m) to the summit of Mt. Rinjani. Within the crater, Mt. Baru ( 2,351m) is an active, last erupting dramatically in 1994. On a clear evening the Gili Isles, Bali and Mt. Agung can be seen to the west.

3 Days 2 Nights Rinjani Trekking

This programme is designed specially for real trekker (advanced).
Participant/s must be fit and have several mountain climbs experiences. Not recommended for beginners.
This trek start from Sembalun, ends in Senaru.
Highlights are: Mt. Rinjani's summit (3,726 m), Segara Anak Lake (crater), Hot Springs and Caves.

Trek itinerary:

Day 1
Our guide will pick you up at hotel lobby at 06.00 AM then transfer to Sembalun. Register the Rinjani Information Center (RIC) in Sembalun Lawang (1,156 m), meet your guide and arrange National Park entry tickets. Your guide gives you briefing describes the route details, local cultural traditions and what you might see, and explains rubbish management and safety procedures. The trek starts from Sembalun Lawang with the gentle ascent walking through open grassland used as cattle grazing by local people. Resting at Pos 1 Pemantauan (1,300), after about three hours from Sembalun we reach Pos 2 Tengengean (1,500 m) enjoying the beautiful views of Mt. Rinjani summit (3,726 m). After another hours ascent to Pos 3 Pada Balong (1,800 m), we start the step 3,5 climb amidst the pine-like Casuarinas species locally known as Cemara, perhaps seeing evidence of wild pigs and the long-tailed grey macaque monkeys to the camp site at Plawangan II Sembalun crater rim (2,639 m).

The itinerary for this classic trek is similar to option #2 but it does not include 1 night accommodation.

This option start from Senaru, ends in Sembalun Lawang. Highlights are: Mt. Rinjani's summit (3,726 m), Segara Anak Lake (crater), Hot Springs and Caves.

5 Days 4 Nights Rinjani Trekking

For the more enjoyable and relaxing trek, this option is suggested. This option includes 1 night stay at four star hotel (Jayakarta Hotel - Lombok) to give you enough time to rest after a long hours flight. This route includes Mt. Rinjani's summit (3,726 m), Segara Anak Lake (crater), and Hot Springs.
Trek starts from Sembalun Lawang (East), ends in Senaru (North).

Trek itinerary:

Day 1
Pick up service at the Airport then transfer to Jayakarta Hotel Senggigi, check in to the hotel. Free at your own leisure
